Set up service account + domain-wide delegation
Follow the guided setup to create a service account in Google Cloud Console, enable the Gmail API, and authorize domain-wide delegation. The setup UI walks you through each step.

Upload credentials and connect
Upload the service account JSON key. Porcia validates and begins scanning immediately.

Check Assets → Apps in 10–15 minutes
First vendor discoveries start appearing as the scan processes your org’s mailboxes.

Step 3: Connect SSO & directory
SSO discovery is Porcia’s most powerful source for access governance — it shows who has access to what and populates your OAuth grant inventory.- Google Workspace

- Review the privacy notice and click Accept & Continue
- Sign in with your Super Admin account
- Grant read-only Admin SDK + Reports API permissions

Step 4: Deploy the browser extension
The extension catches apps that don’t send invoices and aren’t in your IdP — shadow IT, AI tools, and apps accessed via personal accounts. It also reports all installed browser extensions for risk scoring.1
Install from the Chrome Web Store
Search for “Porcia” in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome

Sign in with your Porcia account
Click the Porcia icon in the toolbar and sign in

Roll out to your team
